Support Mona Build
Mona's primary goal is to use her Elemental Burst, Stellaris Phantasm,to create massive elemental reaction damage. She can also use her standard ElementalSkill, Mirror Reflection of Doom, to create space on the battlefield bysummoning an Illusion that continuously taunts enemies and deals Hydro damagewhether she is on or off the field. However, Mirror Reflection of Doomonly last 5 seconds, so it can be difficult to complete a full team rotationbefore it ends.

Mona's weapon of choice, Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers, cancreate some great reactions when you bring a Main DPS onto the field, givingthem an ATK buff from her weapon. However, choosing this weapon does take a lotaway from Mona's DPS, leaving her as pure support. Her second choice, Prototype Amber, is also great for her as support role allowing ateam-wide heal whenever she uses her Burst ability. Lastly, she can equip Blackcliff Agate, which offers Mona a much more offense stats totry and kill the smaller enemies to trigger the weapon's team-wide ATK buff. These weapon choices are designed to focus on her support capabilities and nother personal damage.
Mona's artifacts are quite important for her team, as they focus onEnergy Recharge and buffing your teammates ATK. Our EnergyRecharge needs are quite high for Mona and we need to aim for over 220% EnergyRecharge for quick rotations on the battlefield while you chain elementalreactions together. We also stack critical stats on Mona to help with the DPSof our reactions when her Hydro is combined with other elements. While Mona isnot focused on DPS in this build, she can still provide the opportunity forsubstantial burst damage.

Combos and How to Play Mona
Mona supports a Main DPS by using her Elemental Burst, Stellaris Phantasm, to apply her Omen Damage Buff to whoeverbreaks the Illusionary Bubble she creates. This offers you a very technicalmethod of applying this damage buff to exactly which character you want to useit on. This Elemental Burst skill also applies Hydro on allenemies nearby, which is used to create huge bursts of damage by combiningelements with your chosen DPS. Mona's Burst ability has three main componentsto it, they are as follows.
- Applies Hydro to enemies.
- Creates the Illusionary Bubble.
- Grants the Omen buff to whichever character breaks the Illusionary Bubble.
Understanding these three components will help you setup and create hugeElemental Reactions to take down bosses with ease. The buffdoes have a timer on it, so be aware of what order you are doing your rotationsin. You want your Main DPS to activate the buff, then continue to play on-fieldwith your them to take advantage of the Omen's buff.

Mona's Best Team Comps
Support Mona sets the stage for some crazy elemental reactions and istypically kept off-field until the conditions are perfect for her step out anduse her Stellaris Phantasm. Mona also has her Elemental Skill, Mirror Reflection of Doom, which should be cycled into yourrotations while you build up her Burst ability to augment your team'sdamage.

Mona Nuke Team
Support | Buffer | Buffer | Main DPS |
---|---|---|---|
Mona | Sucrose | Kaedehara Kazuha | Bennett |
This team is all about dropping Mona's Stellaris Phantasmfor Bennett to charge in and break the Illusionary Bubble with his Fantastic Voyage. Right before Mona deploys her ElementalBurst, we want to have Kazuha and Sucrose use their Burst abilities to addtheir own buffs to Bennett. The rest of the play time is used to applyElemental Reactions and keep Bennett on the field using his claymore attacks. This build is typically made for nuking world bosses and does not perform thebest without properly setting up your skills on the battlefield. However, ithas to be included on this build list as it showcases some truly powerfulone-shot mechanics against world bosses.

Mona Freeze Team

Mona | Kujou Sara | Ganyu | Diona |
This Freeze build focuses on a double damage buff forGanyu, using Kujou, Sara, and Mona to trigger some massive Freeze damage onceyou destroy Mona's Illusionary Bubble with Ganyu. The rotations are easy toperform and keep track of, keeping Ganyu on the field while Mona's Mirror Reflection of Doom helps manage the enemies while you stayranged with Ganyu. Diona also helps with additional sources of freezing, andher shield/healing to keep the team going while you build up Mona's ElementalBurst, Stellaris Phantasm, to start the cycle all over again.Overall, this combination of damage, freezing and shielding/healing will helpyou survive against most of the game's content.

Mona Double Hydro Team
Support | Buffer | Support | Main DPS |
---|---|---|---|
Mona | Kaedehara Kazuha | Yun Jin | Kamisato Ayato |
This Double Hydro build once again focuses on using Supportsand Buffers to push Ayato's damage as high as possible. Mona's role here is thesame as with previous builds, using her Stellaris Phantasm toapply her Omen buff to Ayato's ultra fast sword attacks with his Kamisato Art: Kyouka. We also use Kazuha to pull enemiestogether for this devastating combination from our two Hydrousers and offer his damage buff to Ayato as well. Lastly, we have Yun Jin whoseElemental Burst, Cliffbreaker's Banner, adds bonus damagebased on her DEF (build her with that in mind) to any teammate's NormalAttacks. Despite Ayato using either of his abilities, they are still considerNormal Attacks and will take full advantage of all of these buffs. Lastly, YunJin can use her Elemental Skill, Opening Flourish, as ashield to absorb any boss attacks or protect you when you cannot escape fromdamage — rounding out the build with some good survivability.
